The Uplands Care Service

- Serving the older people of Stroud

The Uplands Care Service is a not-for-profit community based charitable organisation and our income is supported by grants from the voluntary sector and the District and County Council, to whom we are very grateful.

Gifts and donations

From time to time we receive gifts, donations and the results of fundraising events from Care Service Supporters or the families and friends of service users.  Sometimes families of deceased service users like acknowledge the care received from us and so donate the offerings from a funeral or thanksgiving service.   As a newly formed Charitable Incorporated Organisation we can now accept donations using Gift Aid.  Please contact us for more details.

Gift in Your Will

A gift in your Will is often a really satisfying and comforting way of knowing that you are still helping others long after you own death.  For most people family and friends will rightly come first.  However, having taken care of those closest to you first, there is a clear opportunity to do something special for others.  A gift in your will (legacy) is a really great way to make your mark.  A solicitor can help you to do this, please think of The Uplands Care Service when making your Will.
